Or how about a shuttle boat that quickly takes you where you want, exactly when you want? Sea Adventure Helgeland offers you boat trips tailored to your needs and wishes.

Join Sea Adventure Helgeland on a sea voyage through Helgeland, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. Visit the islands you want, with our experienced and knowledgeable skipper at the helm. And he’ll share some amazing stories that give you insights into the local heritage and coastal culture.

Explore amazing fjords and marvel at high mountains, admire chalk-white sandy beaches, and experience the rich birdlife and impressive marine life of Helgeland. Seize the opportunity to see Northern Europe’s largest bird of prey, the White-Tailed Sea Eagle, up close. Exploring Helgeland by sea is an unforgettable experience – especially when we tailor the voyage to your desires.

How about visiting the Vega archipelago, where for generations the bird guardians of Lånan have protected the eider ducks that come to nest each year, and harvested the wonderful down they leave behind? How about a scenic walk through beautiful Herøy under the midnight sun? Or a deep-sea fishing trip, where you can catch huge cod or perhaps even a halibut?

Sea Adventure Helgeland operates MS “Hermine” year round. This boat is a speedy Stinger 1300 with twelve comfortable seats, and the vessel is wheelchair accessible. If you prefer, we can provide a RIB for your sea-rafting adventure. Please contact us with your wishes, and to inquire about price and availability. Our experienced staff will be happy to make some recommendations. Together we’ll plan a voyage that you will never forget!

Please:

  • Strive to leave no trace of your visit. Bring back all your rubbish, including used toilet paper, and discard it in the nearest rubbish bin.
  • Plan your toilet visits and use the opportunity when you pass a toilet. In the wilderness, make sure you are not a nuisance to others.
  • Respect the local wildlife. Keep a good distance from wildlife, livestock and birds. Keep your dog leashed.
  • Respect private property. Keep a respectful distance from houses and cabins.
  • Show good boating sense. Keep a good distance from shore and drive at a low speed, especially when you are close to anyone or anything on the water, including birds or animals. Avoid loud and disturbing engine noise. Be aware that some islands and nature reserves are important nesting sites, and that going ashore is prohibited during the nesting season.
  • Follow the Norwegian Mountain Code (Fjellvettreglene). Plan your excursion according to the weather forecast, your skills and experience.
  • Join a guided excursion or consider hiring an experienced guide, especially when you don’t have sufficient experience or knowledge to guarantee a safe trip.
