Furøy Camping is conveniently located near the coastal route «National Tourist Route Helgeland Coast», in the northern parts of the coast, with close proximity to the Svartisen glacier. The campsite offers cabins and spaces for motorhomes, caravans, and tents.

Positioned by the water’s edge, near the Coastal Route and the Halsa ferry landing in Meløy, the campsite ensures visitors are a short distance from the boat to the Svartisen glacier, the magnificent mountains of Meløy, and prime fishing spots in the surrounding fjords.

Accommodation

The camping ground can accommodate 50 motorhomes and caravans, all featuring electrical outlets. Guests can also choose from 20 camping cabins, of which 15 are of higher quality and spacious, and 5 are smaller with basic amenities.

The service building has recently been refurbished and now boasts new showers and toilets. Facilities for emptying septic tanks and filling water for caravans and motorhomes are available.

Fishing

The campsite offers excellent fishing boats equipped with reliable engines, sonar, and GPS. The on-site store has a good selection of fishing gear. Plus, anyone renting a boat can receive a good map highlighting the best fishing locations for various species in the area.
