An Arctic dining experience shaped by flavours from the sea, the land and the surrounding landscape.

Welcome to Barthbryggo – fine dining the Northern Norwegian way. Grounded, carefully crafted, and rooted in respect for the ingredients, the place, and the people who bring them to the table.

For us, food is about more than taste alone. It is about origin, craftsmanship and time. We offer an Arctic dining experience through a ten‑course tasting menu, where the ingredients are allowed to speak for themselves – shaped by the sea, the soil, the landscape, and the people around us.

Our menu is carefully composed from the best available ingredients in our surroundings. Ingredients from both sea and land are harvested, refined and further developed by our own hands, before being presented as a coherent culinary journey. An evening at Barthbryggo lasts approximately four hours, allowing flavours, stories and moments to unfold at a pace that invites you to be fully present throughout the experience.

Just across the courtyard you will find the wine cellar, which we share with our wine bistro Huset i Gato. The wine list offers both breadth and depth – from young, vibrant expressions to rare, aged bottles.

With more than 570 labels, our wine list has been awarded a White Star by Star Wine List. In 2026, it was also nominated among the Top 50 in Norway’s Best Wine List.

Thank you for helping us protect the nature and local communities of Helgeland.
Thank you for:

  • Practising Leave No Trace, and bringing waste and toilet paper back to the nearest bin.
  • Planning toilet breaks so you can do what you need to do without disturbing others.
  • Respecting local wildlife, keeping dogs on a lead, and keeping a good distance from both wild and domestic animals and birds.
  • Respecting private property, and keeping distance from private homes and cabins.
  • Showing good boating etiquette by keeping distance from the shore, reducing speed near others on the water — including animals and birds — and avoiding unnecessary driving that causes disturbing engine noise.
  • Respecting access restrictions and landing bans in seabird reserves during the breeding season.
  • Following the mountain safety guidelines, and planning trips according to your ability and experience.
  • Hiring an experienced guide for trips where you do not have the knowledge or experience needed for a safe outing.
