This package combines rafting in Trofors with Via Ferrata and the spectacular Helgeland Staircase in Mosjøen. It is a great option for families and holiday travellers looking for a few active and varied days in the heart of Helgeland.

The package offers a well-rounded summer experience, combining river activities, mountain experiences and time in a welcoming town setting. The trip starts with River North in Trofors, where participants join a half-day rafting tour with experienced guides and varied rapids. After check-in at Topcamp Mosjøen, there is easy access to both the town centre and good dining options.

The following day, Hi North takes you on a Via Ferrata route followed by a descent along the Helgeland Staircase – an impressive stone-built trail with wide views over Mosjøen and the fjord. After the activities, it is pleasant to stroll through the historic wooden buildings in Sjøgata and enjoy a relaxed afternoon in town.

This is a versatile and family-friendly package that fits well into a longer holiday in Helgeland, whether continuing towards the coast or travelling north along the E6.

RiverNorth is based in Trofors, about a 45-minute drive south of Mosjøen. We recommend travelling by car to Trofors, but it is also possible to get there by train.
