One of the most appreciated qualities of Helgeland is how varied its landscape is. Here is something for every traveller: narrow fjords surrounded by towering mountains, uninhabited islands and vast tracts of wilderness.

We also have calm and tranquil landscapes: foothills that beckon you to relaxed walks, archipelagos with shallow crystal-clear waters, sheltered coves, and beaches that you can make your very own for the day. All these and more are waiting to be discovered as you explore on two wheels or by kayak, or roam in hiking boots.
