With its beautiful location between the Vefsna river and the E6, just outside the mountain village of Trofors, Trixie is both scenic and convenient for travellers, locals, hikers and larger groups.

Trixie Restaurant is a welcoming place to eat at Laksvollen, in the heart of the scenic municipality of Grane National Park. Its excellent location along the E6, just outside Trofors, makes it an easy stop for good food and relaxed moments along the way.

Rahim and his friendly team serve family favourites, from a varied pizza and kebab menu to classic dinner dishes such as beef stir-fry, chicken fillet, meatballs and pork chops. Portions are generous and always served with a warm smile. Meals here work just as well as a pleasant break on a journey, a social meeting place for friends, or a satisfying end to an active day outdoors.

Thank you for helping take care of nature and local communities in Helgeland.

Thank you for:

  • Practising leave-no-trace travel, and taking all waste and toilet paper back to the nearest bin.
  • Planning toilet breaks, so they are done in places where they do not inconvenience others.
  • Respecting local wildlife by keeping dogs on a leash and keeping a safe distance from both wild and domestic animals and birds.
  • Respecting private property and keeping your distance from private homes and cabins.
  • Showing good boating behaviour: keeping a safe distance from shore, reducing speed near others on the water – including animals and birds – and avoiding unnecessary driving that creates disruptive engine noise.
  • Respecting access and landing restrictions in seabird reserves during the breeding season.
  • Following the mountain safety rules and planning trips according to your ability and experience.
  • Hiring an experienced guide for trips where you do not have the knowledge or experience required for a safe outing.
