Experience a rare opportunity to paddle right up to Engabreen, one of the most impressive outlets of the Svartisen glacier. This trip brings you close to glacier ice, clear meltwater, and steep mountains in a landscape that feels both raw and quiet at the same time.

A paddle trip on glacier water with a view of the ice

Engabrevatnet is surrounded by high peaks and the Engabreen glacier arm descending toward the lake. From the kayak, participants get a close view of blue ice formations, calm glacier water, and an atmosphere that feels very distinctive. The gentle sound of the paddle in the water and drops falling from the ice set the tone for a calm but striking experience.

For anyone who wants to experience Svartisen up close

The trip lasts three hours and is suitable for active participants from the age of 10 and up. No prior experience is needed. The guides provide thorough instruction before departure and ensure safety along the way. The tour is adapted to the group so both beginners and more experienced paddlers can enjoy the experience.

This activity suits families, groups of friends, small companies, or anyone looking for a nature‑based experience that stands out.
