Join a guided kayak trip in the area around Rødøyløva. The tour offers a close-up experience of the island’s beaches, small bays, and steep rock formations, with Rødøyløva as an impressive backdrop.

The guide meets the group at the parking area at the foot of the stairs leading up to Rødøyløva. After a short introduction and safety briefing, participants receive their equipment and help getting settled in the kayaks.

Rødøya is known for its beautiful coastal landscape and rich wildlife. Exploring the shoreline by kayak gives visitors a chance to see this unique island setting up close, enjoying the quiet surroundings and open views of the coast. Kayaking here suits both beginners and experienced paddlers and offers a good sense of freedom on the water.

Weather along the coast can change quickly. Most of the route follows sheltered waters, but some waves and wind may occur.

The tour keeps a comfortable pace, making it easy to take in the surroundings while also feeling a sense of achievement on the water. The entire trip lasts around four hours, from meeting up to finishing.
