The house has a bathroom with a shower and a washer-dryer, an additional toilet, a fully equipped kitchen with a freezer and dishwasher, and a cosy living room with a dining area, a sofa corner, TV, and a wood-burning stove. Everything you might need for both active and relaxing days.

The farm produces local food and Norwegian Pelssau sheep, and you can buy rhubarb juice, jellies made from berries and wild plants, as well as leather goods and yarn from the farm’s own sheep.

The house is rented out as a whole, all year round. During the high season, priority is given to guests booking more than three nights, and weekly rentals come with a discounted price.

Although the house has been recently renovated, it is still an old Nordland house with steep stairs and sloping ceilings on the second floor, and is, for example, not adapted for wheelchair users.

To accommodate guests with allergies, dogs are unfortunately not allowed inside the house, regardless of type.

Stavseng Gård is located in Stavseng, in the northern part of the island of Dønna, just outside Sandnessjøen, roughly halfway along the Helgeland coast. The farm is about a 30-minute drive from the ferry terminal at Bjørn.
