We offer 20 rooms in various categories, from simple singles to double and triple rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and a TV. Breakfast is always included and served in the restaurant overlooking the fjord, where you can also enjoy lunch and dinner throughout the day and evening. The menu features traditional dishes made with local ingredients when in season, and the restaurant is open to both hotel guests and visitors.

The nature in Meløy is among the wildest in Helgeland, and Ørnes is a perfect base for experiencing it. From here, you can easily reach Svartisen glacier, Glomfjellet, and the many islands along the coast. Ørnes Hotell is located right by the ferry and express boat terminal in Meløy, along the Coastal Route (Kystriksveien), in the northern part of the Helgeland coast. You can get there by car, by bus from Bodø, on the Nordland Express express boat (running between Bodø and Sandnessjøen), or via Hurtigruten or Havila Kystruten.

The Zahl building and the old sexton´s residence in Nesna

Træna Museum documents the this archipelago’s history going back to the Stone Age. Some of the archaeological discoveries displayed date back at least 9000 years. For this reason, Træna can rightfully call itself “the oldest fishing community in Norway”.
