Glomfjord Alpine Centre offers a chairlift, varied slopes, and breathtaking views of the fjord and surrounding glaciers. This is a winter paradise for experienced skiers and freeride enthusiasts, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and a local team with a true passion for the mountains.

From the top of the chairlift, the mountain landscape opens toward Svartisen, Glombreen, and the towering peaks above the fjord. Here, challenging runs and spectacular freeride terrain await. When the snow arrives deep and dry, this becomes one of Northern Norway’s most magnificent ski areas.

For those who enjoy exploring further, the ski centre provides easy access to tours toward Istinden and Tverrfjellet, perfect for mountain skis or summit trips with sweeping views over the whole Glomfjord area.

Passion in every snowfall

Glomfjord Alpine Centre is run by dedicated locals who keep the mountain traditions alive. Skiers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts gather here in an atmosphere shaped by genuine engagement and pride. The local volunteer spirit is the heart of the ski centre—and you’ll feel it in everything from freshly groomed slopes to hot coffee served at Fjellstua.

Fjellstua – a taste of Helgeland
