Camping Area Just outside the restaurant, 3 Kalver provides paved parking spaces for up to 8 motorhomes and caravans, each with its own small lawn area and access to electricity. Guests have access to showers, toilets, and a kitchen in the 3 Kalver service facility, as well as waste disposal for toilets and gray water.
Barn Apartment
The apartment in the renovated barn, which also houses the restaurant, sleeps two and includes a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and washing machine. It’s ideal for those who want to spend a few days exploring Dønna and neighboring islands like Herøy.

When you travel the scenic Helgeland coast, you are at the heart of one of Norway’s most important industries: aquaculture. And the Norwegian Aquaculture Centre is right on the water at Toftsundet, in the middle of the country’s salmon farming industry. Here you can observe every phase of the salmon’s life up close. A gangway takes you to the centre’s salmon pens. Nearby are the rorbu, the traditional fishermen’s cabins, as well as a building that houses a historic exhibition and the centre’s restaurant.
