Music festival in Mo i Rana
August 29th and 30th

The Verket music festival is an annual end-of-summer event in Mo i Rana. The festival is held at Revelen, within walking distance of Mo’s town center and just a few hundred meters from Mo Industrial Park, formerly AS Norsk Jernverk—the inspiration for the festival’s name.

In the last weekend of August, Revelen in Mo i Rana transforms into a vibrant festival arena, where mountain meets fjord and music sets the tone. Verket is Helgeland’s largest music festival, annually gathering thousands of visitors for two days filled with pop, rock, and atmosphere across two stages.

With capacity for 5,500 guests per day and a lineup of national and local stars, Verket is a lively meeting place for music lovers of all ages. The evening concerts have an 18+ age limit, but the festival experience goes far beyond that.

On Saturday morning, Underverket opens – an alcohol-free family event with a full program for children and youth. Well-known artists, science shows, and local talent create a festive atmosphere for the youngest as well. Underverket is free for children under 2 and for adults with a Saturday or festival pass.

Verket has roots in Mo i Rana’s industrial history, and the festival’s name is a tribute to the town’s ironworks era. At the same time, it is a forward-thinking cultural arena that invests in local talent and sustainable development – for example through StøtteVerket, which supports creative growth in Helgeland.

In 2025, the lineup features a strong mix of artists, including Ina Wroldsen, Ballinciaga, The September When, Sivert Høyem, Timbuktu (SE), Stein Torleif Bjella, No.4, Kjartan Lauritzen, and many more.
