Music festival in Træna
July 9th to 12th 2025

Trænafestivalen is a cultural experience as breathtaking and unique as the landscape it’s set in—beautiful Træna, located on the outer edge of the Helgeland coast. This is one of the most exciting opportunities to experience these remote islands at their most vibrant.

Over four days in July, Trænafestivalen delivers unforgettable musical moments under the midnight sun: concerts by some of the country’s biggest artists, raves in the woods, church concerts, all-night DJ sets, and, of course, the festival’s crown jewel—a concert in the magnificent cave formation of Kirkehelleren (you’ve probably seen the photos).

The lineup for 2025 hasn’t been announced yet, but in 2024, the festival featured artists such as Stig Brenner, Honningbarna, Gåte, Ravi, Ingrid Jasmin, Veslemøy Narvesen, and Oslo Fagottkor.

Welcome to Træna

Far out at sea, with only the open ocean and Iceland as its next neighbor to the west, you’ll find the Træna archipelago. Out here, the “sea people” reside, along with fish and birds, amidst hundreds of large and small islands, islets, and reefs.
