Skogmo Family Camping is idyllic situated in tranquil surroundings 12 km south of Brønnøysund. It offers a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere well away from the city, where children can play freely and safely.

Cabins and camper spots

The traditional-style cabins vary in standard. In the middle of the campgrounds is a service building featuring a common kitchen, showers and toilets. Skogmo also has prepared spots with power hook-ups for campers, caravans or tents.

Skogmo, situated at a tranquil site outside town, has a calm family-friendly atmosphere where children can play freely and safely. During good weather you can relax and enjoy the view from your porch, explore the shoreline, or watch your kids as they gleefully jump on the trampoline. There is a slide and other playground equipment, a barbecue hut, and there are excellent trails to walk and explore the scenery. A few hundred metres from the campsite is a fenced-in area for ballgames.

Scenic surroundings

The circuit trail that circles the area is a popular walk. If you want a longer hike, we suggest heading for Skomohatten, Guromannen, Kjølsfjellet, Trælneshatten or one of the other nearby peaks.

Torghatten, the legendary mountain with a hole through it, should be on the holiday “bucket list” of everyone who visits southern Helgeland.

Practical infection control measures in 2022:

– They offer kitchen facilities reserved for their campers with tents or without a sufficient kitchen in their own cabin or caravan / motorhome.

– They have taken in the cabins’ kitchen equipment, but this will be handed out to you if needed. Let them know what equipment you need.

– They carry out extra cleaning of the cabins between each guest.
