Guided Tours in Helgeland’s ski-touring paradise

Helgeland is truly an hidden winter paradise. From the restaurant and accommodation in Utskarpen, it’s only a short distance to a variety of skiing adventures. Explore the dramatic coastal mountain Tortenviktinden, named one of Norway’s best summit tours by FriFlyt, the powder-filled Rauvassdalen, or the snow-covered highlands stretching toward Saltfjellet, the Swedish border, and Røssvatnet. The area offers nearly endless opportunities for scenic tours, and with expert guides from MAD Mountain Guides, you’re almost guaranteed to find mountains with excellent snow and weather conditions.

You’ll head out in small groups of up to six people per guide. The professional guides tailor the tours to the group’s fitness level and skiing experience, ensuring a rewarding adventure for everyone. The package includes a rental car, with optional ski equipment rental available.

Comfortable stay with award-winning cuisine

After a day on the mountains, you get to relax in the sauna at Til Elise fra Marius before enjoying a delicious dinner. On the first two evenings, you’ll be served a two-course meal, while the final night features a 12-course tasting menu – a true “farm-to-table” experience.

Til Elise fra Marius is run by Elise and Marius, who both have backgrounds with the Norwegian national culinary team. In 2023, they won the Matprisen Award for “Kitchen of the Year” for creating exceptional dining experiences with locally sourced ingredients. Expect top-class cuisine in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for warm smiles and tired legs after a rare winter adventure.

The cozy rooms are located above the restaurant, featuring comfortable double beds and private bathrooms.
