Enjoy a guided kayak tour with views of Moholmen’s historic wooden houses, Mjølanstranda beach, Mo i Rana’s industrial landmarks, and the Ranfjord.

This relaxed and easy-going kayak tour takes you along the old town, docks, and harbour areas of Mo i Rana, with plenty of time for breaks and going ashore along the way.

The trip begins at Moholmen Marina and follows the city’s waterfront northward, passing both old and new industrial sites. Along the route, you’ll paddle past the former industrial giant Koksverket, Toraneskaia, and the modern Mo i Rana Port. The guides arrange a cosy beach break at the beautiful Mjølanstranda city beach, where you’ll hear a tall tale or two while stretching your legs. Those who feel like it are welcome to take a dip before heading back.

On the return leg, you’ll paddle past the marina and into the well-preserved old town of Moholmen. With a view of the ski jump in Fageråsen, the tour takes you up close to the granite sculpture Havmannen, before turning back toward the starting point.

Welcome to a peaceful nature experience with a touch of local history—just a few strokes away from the town centre!
