Restaurant Soprano offers a taste of Italy in rustic surroundings. During the summer, you can dine at an outdoor table, surrounded by trees, cobblestones and people strolling along the pleasant pedestrian street on which the cosy restaurant is situated.

The menu is varied and the ingredients are always fresh. Choose from starters, salads, light dishes, pizza and pasta, burgers, chicken and other meat dishes. You will also find vegetarian dishes and gluten-free options. Conclude your meal with an authentic Italian dessert such as Tiramisu, Panna Cotta, Banana Flambé, or other sweet delights. Soprano has an extensive wine list.

Restaurant Soprano is located in the old post office from 1923, a stately brick building with the year engraved over its entrance. The restaurant is decorated with old signs and objects. Restaurant Soprano and its pleasant pedestrian street are just a short walk from Hotel Scandic Syv Søstre, the ferry quay, and the quay for the Hurtigruten coastal steamer.

Flere sittegrupper med hvite duker dekket klar til gjester med mange eldre detaljer på veggen bak, slik som innrammet gammelt avisutklipp og post-skilt Soprano Mat og Vinhus

The hosts of Restaurant Soprano warmly welcome you to the aroma and taste of Italian cuisine!

Welcome to Sandnessjøen

The town of Sandnessjøen is situated roughly at the geographic centre of the magnificent Helgeland coast. It sits midway between mighty mountains and beautiful islands. Here you are near the Seven Sisters mountain range, the kayaking paradise of Herøy, the recreated Viking chieftain seat Sandnes, the museum that celebrates the 17th-century poet-priest Petter Dass, and the island of Dønna which is wonderful to explore on two wheels.
