When you step off the boat at Myken, you feel your pulse calming down. Further out to sea, it's hardly possible to reach Helgeland. But 32 kilometers from the mainland, north of the Arctic Circle, there is a small community on a tiny island, where a handful of enthusiasts keep the lights on in the houses and the doors open. Skillevollen Alpine Center
Skillevollen Alpine Center is part of a larger winter activity center in Mo i Rana. Take the family skiing on the alpine slopes, the cross-country trail or on the ice rink in winter. Skillevollen Alpine Center is located just outside the center of Mo i Rana, in a beautiful snowy area with good conditions for skiing and snowboarding. The center boasts four slopes, including a special children's slope that is perfect for younger skiers. Mo i Rana has a vibrant alpine and snowboarding culture, and the resort has a snowboard park built every winter on one of the hills, complete with rails and jumps. Please note that lift tickets for Skillevollen Alpine Center cannot be purchased on-site. To ensure a seamless experience, we recommend buying your lift ticket online before your visit.
