If you come with a group of friends, family, or colleagues, it’s possible to book the Deluxe Whisky Tasting. In addition to tasting a selection of the best-received whisky releases, you will be served finger food specially paired with the whisky and prepared by the chef at Fiskebruket. You’ll also join a tour of the storage facility and taste whisky straight from the barrel. At Lyngvågen Café you can eat good homemade seafood and stay overnight. Across the strait you can visit Jonny in Gjerøyhamn. Here you will find a lovely visitor garden, a sales exhibition in Losviklåven and a private museum in the old sheriff's house.
The Café
From the old fish landing station on Gjerdøya, local fisherman and chef Jim serves traditional seafood dishes. Like fish burgers, whale burgers, bacalao, and fried cod tongues, to name a few. Most of the seating is outdoors along the dock, so be sure to dress for the weather.
Guest Pier
