Skillevollen Alpine Center is located just outside the center of Mo i Rana, in a beautiful snowy area with good conditions for skiing and snowboarding. The center boasts four slopes, including a special children's slope that is perfect for younger skiers. Mo i Rana has a vibrant alpine and snowboarding culture, and the resort has a snowboard park built every winter on one of the hills, complete with rails and jumps. We also offer good spots where you can pitch your tent. Base Camp Vega is situated right by the Vega Stairs and the Ravnfloget Via Ferrata, and the sheltered waters nearby are perfect for kayaking. A very special way to experience the UNESCO World Heritage island Vega is through an overnight stay in one of our beautiful mini-cabins. We call them “e-houses” and their design was inspired by the little nesting huts that the proud Vega natives for generations have been building for the migrating eider ducks who nest on these islands.
