Looking for a unique nature experience? Austerdalsisen, Svartisen is located just north of Mo i Rana. Svartisdal takes you by boat across Svartisvatnet so you can witness this spectacular glacier.
To reach the starting point, take the exit from E6 towards Røssvoll (Mo i Rana Airport) and follow the signs along Svartisdalveien towards Svartisen. There is a large parking area available for motorhomes and campers, and it is also possible to find camping spots for tents. In the kiosk, you can purchase drinks, snacks, and souvenirs.
