With the Vefsna River as its nearest neighbor, the enchanting house at Storsletta is nestled in a picturesque area.

Storsletta is located in a beautiful natural setting, and although it is not far from the main road, it gives you the feeling of being in a world of your own. The house is unique and lovingly renovated with respect for its surroundings – featuring timber from the surrounding forest and stone from the river, which contribute to a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. The house comfortably accommodates up to 7 people in its special rooms, each with its own character.

While the house has a rustic feel, guests enjoy all modern amenities, including a TV, internet, dishwasher, towels, bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, and heated floors. The house is perfect for everyone looking to stay close to natyre– families, groups of friends, hunters and anglers, berry and mushroom pickers, and those who enjoy hiking or cycling.

If you’d like to try your luck fishing in the salmon river Vefsna, fishing permits can be purchased at inatur.no, and the house is located in zone 15. Guided fishing trips for salmon, sea trout, and trout, as well as fly-fishing courses from Vefsna Fly Fishing, can be booked together with accommodation. Laksforsen is also nearby, where you’ll find a café with a fantastic view of this famous attraction.

The nearest grocery store is in the village of Trofors, about a 10-minute drive from Storsletta.

Storsletta is available for rent for a minimum of three nights at a time from June to September.

  • Follow the Norwegian Mountain Code (Fjellvettreglene). Plan your excursion according to the weather forecast, your skills and experience.
  • Join a guided excursion or consider hiring an experienced guide, especially when you don’t have sufficient experience or knowledge to guarantee a safe trip.
