This cozy cultural café in Mosjøen is located at the “beginning” of Sjøgata and offers good food, coffee, and both small and large concerts throughout the year.

In this old street, you’ll find Gilles Cafe & Restaurant, a cultural café that serves delicious food and hosts a variety of great concert experiences. While the house itself dates back to the 1800s, the interior is inspired by various decades, primarily focusing on the 60s and 70s, giving Gilles a unique atmosphere.

Throughout the year, with certain exceptions, there is a sushi and tapas buffet every Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 10 PM and a hot food buffet every weekday from 12 PM to 5 PM. During the winter months, Monday evenings are reserved for Gilles-Quiz. In addition, you can order excellent steak dishes, chicken, fish, snacks, and much more from the menu. Gilles holds all beverage licenses.

Gilles hosts many concerts, both small and large, throughout the year. During the summer season, larger concerts are often held in Gilles Garden, a charming garden that can accommodate around 500 people. Norwegian and international groups and artists frequently perform here, much to the delight of both locals and tourists.
