Steinlikammen is a ridge peak on the way to Grøvfjellet, located about 30 minutes from Mosjøen. The mountain lies close to the Lomsdal-Visten National Park, which you can see from the summit. It’s a nice ascent suited for both alpine touring skis and mountain skis, with easy-to-find routes that cater to skiers of all levels.

The safest route follows the ridge southeast of the peak, both for the ascent and descent once you’re above the tree line. Some sections are steep enough to trigger avalanches, so be sure to check avalanche forecasts, read the terrain carefully, and make safe route choices.
