The Ski bus to the slopes in Hemavan
From January 25 to May 3, a ski bus runs between Hemavan and the town of Mo i Rana. It’s the perfect way to combine your Helgeland trip with a day on the slopes!
Hemavan Alpint, a large and family-friendly ski resort, is just a 45-minute drive across the Swedish border. A ski day here is a popular getaway for locals from Helgeland. With the ski bus, you can head to Hemavan in the morning and return in the evening—ideal whether you’re vacationing in Helgeland or visiting from Sweden.
Departure schedule and tickets
The bus to Hemavan departs from Mo i Rana train station on Saturdays at 08:30 and returns from the Centrumsliften lift in Hemavan at 16:30.
The ticket includes a day pass for the ski area and the return trip in the afternoon. Minimum age is 15 without a guardian.
