Hildurs Urterarium/ Sagastua welcomes you to a pleasant family restaurant at Tilrem near Brønnøysund. The ingredients, many of them from Hildur’s own gardens, are top-notch, and so is the service. There is also a farm shop.

Vega Havhotelloffers wonderful seafood dishes and a great ocean view. Welcome to a true taste of the good life! Situated at Viksås in the Vega World Heritage area.

Forvik Old Trading Postin Vevelstad has a restaurant specialising in the flavours of Helgeland. There is also a charming coffee roaster.

Dønnes Gård, a farm on the scenic island of Dønna, offers dishes based on local ingredients, served with excellent condiments and dressings, and homemade bread and butter. Visit their farm shop.

Margrethes Kaféserves its menu of traditional Helgeland dishes in a beautiful setting. It’s situated in the Petter Dass Museum at Alstahaug, 20 km from Sandnessjøen. Petter Dass was a 17th-century priest and a celebrated poet.

Aurora Restaurant & Livescene

tempts you with dishes based on local ingredients prepared with culinary fusion. The restaurant is situated at Havblikk Camping in Nesna.

Restaurant Måken

draws its inspiration from the Nordic cuisine, prepared with traditional local and regional ingredients. Situated in the spectacular Lovund Hotell on the beautiful island of Lovund!

Emma’s Kammers

welcomes groups to afternoon tea and biscuits. Their sweet temptations – and their full dinners – are based on recipes handed down through generations. Located at Valryggen in Grane.

 Laksforsen restaurant
which overlooks a magnificent waterfall in Grane, is proud of its family traditions. Its recipes are prepared with the finest ingredients from local producers.

Sæterstad Gårdis a farm at Varntresk in Hattfjelldal. Each meal is a fascinating culinary voyage, with a close-up look at how their farm-grown ingredients are prepared. You can also purchase these in their farm shop. Groups of 8–12 persons.

Restaurant Ellen, in the 200-year-old Fru Haugans Hotel, is renowned for honouring local culinary traditions. Dishes based on the very best local ingredients are served in distinctive surroundings. On the historic Sjøgata street in Mosjøen.

Matkollektivet, an old-fashioned general store in Vikgården in Mosjøen, is a unique experience. Locals and well-informed travellers come here for tasty lunch dishes, great pastries and coffee. A multi-course menu is available on request. Open in the summer and for private events.

Stenneset Mat & Vinin Rana offers a cultural experience in its historical surroundings. Great food is combined with great service. Open in the summer.

Restaurant Søilenis situated in Meyergården Hotel. The dishes chef Svein Jæger Hansen prepares with local ingredients are a feast for both eye and palate.

Restaurant Gammelbutikkenat Støtt in Meløy says: “There is no better place to enjoy the midnight sun than to combine it with a seafood dinner prepared from the catch of the day.”
